I really like Denis Gagnon and the clothes he creates. I rarely if ever wear high-end clothes but there is something incredibly unique about Denis Gagnon that mesmerizes me everytime I come across his work. In my opinion he falls right into the fast moving pace of international fashion and thankfully Montreal has Gagnon to back itself up.
I clearly remember the Spring-Summer 2010 Montreal Fashion Week I was able to attend thanks to my Facebook Montreal Fashion & Lifestyle Group and was in complete awe when I saw Denis Gagnon's collection on the runway. I really was in awe, and I never am usually. Things just don't strike me, but I fell in love. Here are some pictures of dresses I don't own but hopefully soon enough will be able to get at least one. What I like about this creativity is how he embedded hard zipper textures into a soft and delicate material, from far away the zipper almost look like strings of diamonds.
